Sawdust N Shards originated about 15 years ago in a two car garage in central Nebraska. The owner, James Christensen, would buy old furniture cheap at auction, fix it up, and resell it at garage sales. Eventually people started trusting him to bring their family heirlooms back to life. The attention and care for each piece, large or small, valuable or nostalgic, was quickly recognized by customers and the two car garage (and sometimes family room) was always full of projects. In 2021 the business moved east to an amazing location just north of Whitney Point, New York. The move offered a 1300 square foot shop area, allowing larger tools, and a dedicated heated finishing area.
